Chocolate Cinnamon Oat Energy Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup (140g) dates very soft
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • If dates are not soft, soak dates in very hot water for about 15 minutes.
  • Place oats in food processor for a few seconds to break oats down.
  • Add dates, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, and hemp hearts. Process until mixed well.
  • Add chocolate chips and process just enough to mix in with oat mixture.
  • Roll mixture into tablespoon-full balls and place on plate lined with parchment paper.
  • Enjoy now or refrigerate until balls are firm.
